☀️ We're Open Again! ☀️

After an unexpected repair issue this morning, we're happy to be back open and serving customers at Lansing Harbor on beautiful Cayuga Lake.

As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you make smoothies! 🍋🥤

Today and tomorrow we'll be offering a limited menu:
🥯 Bagels
☕ Coffee
🥤 Cold Drinks
🍓 Smoothies

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and support. We look forward to having our full menu back soon!

In the meantime, come check out the beautiful new waterfront decks that Greg and the marina team built for us. We're excited to offer even more lakeside seating so you can relax, enjoy the view, and make the most of these gorgeous summer days.

Well friends......we gave Fridays a little test sail this May at Big Boat Café.
After a month of testing the waters and seeing all of your friendly faces, we've decided to dock our Friday hours for now and stick with our regular schedule (Saturday's and Sunday's 8a-3p) for now as we head into the busy summer season and focus on making the most of our core operating days.
BUT -- never say never! We may bring Fridays back later this summer when the days are longer, the weather is warmer, and everyone is in full summer mode!
Thank you so much for all of the support, encouragement, coffee runs, and smiling faces. We appreciate this community more than you know!

Mother Nature has other plans for us today! With heavy rain and high winds in the forecast, Big Boat Cafe will be closing at noon (12) for the safety of the chef 🥹 and our customers. 🌧️ 🌧️ 💨 💨 We’re hoping for calmer waters and clearer skies. We will be open regular hours tomorrow, 8-1. Thank you all for your understanding and for supporting our little cafe!

The Big Boat Café is getting ready to kick off **Season 4**, and we can’t wait to see you all again! 🙌 We’ve officially moved all our gear onto the boat, and now we’re putting the final touches together for another amazing season on the water.

Get ready for your favorites, fresh flavors, and those laid-back waterfront vibes you’ve been missing all winter. 🌊🍴

Community Pancake Breakfast!!!
Sunday, February 1

Join us on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 8:00–11:00 AM at North Lansing Fire Station #4 for a community pancake breakfast supporting two great causes.
Half of the proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention, and the other half will support the Lansing Lions Club, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping our community.
Bring your family, bring your friends, and enjoy a great breakfast while giving back to organizations that make a real difference right here at home.
