Even though the pumpkins are fading and we are closed for the season we are still working behind the scenes. Working on growing our business even further. We ask ourselves "Why do customers choose our business? What do they seek from us they can't get elsewhere? What can we do to continue to get our customers to describe us as "efficient, fun, friendly, creative, convenient, reliable, exciting, and amazing?" We are going to be working hard these next 6 months even though we are closed to make your experience at "The Red Barn" even better. Even though you might not see us, know we are still working to make us even better.

Today is always bittersweet. We are happy to get a break from a long season but we are also sad because we are going to miss you our customers. This year was our best year yet because of you. We get so many compliments on our freshness and prices and that is because of your support we sell so much so quickly we can keep our prices low and everything is always fresh. The collab we formed with the and , the products we sell from , and others we give thanks. For now it seems like next Summer is a long ways away. But it will be here before you know it. We will be back and ready and we are already looking forward to it. 🍉🍑🍅🍎🌽🫐

It's looking to be another nice and sunny day! just made her last drop of the season of her delicious cheeseboxes and soup. Today is minestrone. 😋 We have about 90 pumpkins left, a few boxes of tomatoes, about 50 pounds of green beans, and a few bushels of apples left. Just over 24 hours left in our season. Inflatables will be up for the last time this season till 5:30. 🎃

Even though we're closing for the season in 2 days we are back at it early this morning bringing more fresh produce into the stand. The last few days you guys have been coming out and stocking up so instead of running out we are restocking. More fresh green beans, carrots, potatoes, apples, and more just in this morning. We have about 130 pumpkins left after a busy day yesterday so still time to come out, grab a pumpkin, and enjoy the inflatables thst will be up and running. Open till 6.

We love our VanDerGriend's pumpkin sign as we know generation after generation come and get their pictures taken. We love seeing families come yearly and keep up the tradition. We have about 180 pumpkins left and about 40 mums left for the season and they'll be gone. We are so thankful for this beautiful weather this week for the pumpkin patch. Inflatables are up and will be till around 5:15. Pumpkin patch and farm stand open till 6. 🎃

Our last week of the season. We've been busy already this morning selling lots of fresh green beans, apples, and pumpkins. It's a beautiful and sunny day which is a great time to grab one of our pumpkins (around 250 left) and enjoy the balloon typhoon and haunted house for the last time. Still only $5 admission. 3 and a half days left! Open till 6.

Wow our last Saturday of the season and we are ready! We saved some of our favorite wild and wacky stemmed pumpkins for today and just put them out. We have about 300 pumpkins to choose from and only 40 cents a pound. The haunted house and balloon typhoon are up and running and still just $5 unlimited time for both. Also your last chance to get apples for eating, slices, or apple sauce. Jonagold, jonathon, gold delicious, Fuji, pinata, and zestar only $1.29lb or $19 a half bushel. Happy Saturday! Open till 5. 🎃🍎🍅

The weather might not be very nice outside but it is nice for making apple sauce. We are getting our last load of apples in around Noon today and when they are gone, welp they are gone. We had a lot of people asking this past weekend "Where is your decorative Indian/calico corn?" Well we were sold out. But with this beautiful and sunny day Bob was able to go out (even with broken L2 bone in his back) and pick some. My Dad is such a trooper. Well now we have it in stock. Thanks pops!
