A few pea plants have survived and regrown to flower and produce some pods, after the early and continuous onslaught from the fat furry jerks waddling their ass down the row and devouring the fresh growth. Sweet delicious victory is mine !!!🏆 🫛…temporarily. I vanquished that vile enemy, but another had already spawned to seek revenge…on my lettuce 🥬

These are ‘Limelight’ 4 O’Clocks and they have a wonderful bright pink bloom with more of a bushy habit than the traditional upright 4 O’Clocks do. The potent fragrance of the flower is clean and light in the evening air. Just $3.50 per pot. Often reseeds a little, but seed can be saved as well to start them earlier. Also, it would be amazing having farm partners to keep up, or maybe even move things forward.

It isn’t much, but I did get about 30 dwarf tomatoes planted, mostly cherry and midsize fruiting varieties.

I just spent two plus hours mowing. It will need done again in a little over a week to keep it from going beyond the little push mowers ability. As little as I try to grow, that will always need to be done no matter how much or little I grow to plant.

Thanks to everyone that’s has been coming out to show support. I’m still horribly overwhelmed and spread thin, so haven’t gotten everything priced and labeled. I’ll get to it when I can, but I am just not finding the time and energy. I’m barely keeping up with watering, and not keeping up with mowing, other maintenance, potting up and moving plants to Clemens from Hunter Park Gardenhouse. My effort alone is not enough, and the lovely few folks that do volunteer or help are temporary, and not usually consistent enough to make much forward progress. I would give almost anything to have one or more people to plan and collaborate with that understand that nature doesn’t wait, and some things need attending daily. Plants don’t live without water, and the potted ones are particularly needy. Until I can find anyone to join, the struggle will continue. I appreciate all you folks going out of your way to be patient for plants to be ready. Thanks again.

🍅 ❤️🍅 I potted up a bunch of dwarf tomato varieties(both determinant and indeterminate) a few weeks back, and they’re almost ready to go to their garden homes. They should be available Sunday or Monday. I’ll share a list of available varieties a bit later today. 🍅❤️🍅I also have a bunch of tomatoes that were started, but haven’t been potted up yet.
