Once Upon a Looking Glass...

I had studied science all my life. I loved the preciseness of it all. I loved seeing chemicals interact to become something new. Lab was always my passion but it never felt right. There was so much mixing but the results were never very fulfilling. I wanted to find something that highlighted my love for reactions as well as my passion for caring for people. I struggle

d for a long time, as some must, until one day, I had a need for a cake my grandma makes. It is the best banana cake in the world. I asked her for the recipe and she happily sent it. You would be amazed at how many times I failed at that cake. It was heart breaking, but I kept trying. And finally one day, like magic, the stars alined and it came out perfect. I called my grandma in tears. I was so happy. It was one of my greatest triumphs. After that I was hooked. I wanted to bake all the time. Baking became my relaxation, my love, and my happiness. I decided I needed to take my love and translate it into my lives work. Baking brings out the best in all my skills: mixing like a mad scientist, creating beautiful things, and sharing my heart with the world.
