One of the best and hardest parts of doing this farm thing is doing it with the family. Responsibly is so good for them and we grow our own food. They get to be part of the life of another creature and learn to care for the animals God trusted us with. But it takes a lot of time and money and effort. Worth it.

This is the sign of a good livestock dog. She has only been with us a few weeks and she is still a baby, but she has learned to ignore the chickens and come when called… watch as she passes by the rooster. Love our Dixie!
