Tall & Small Dairy Goats Tall & Small Dairy Goats is a small herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We participate in linear appraisal, milk test and ADGA shows across the country.

Tall & Small Dairy Goats is a small family herd started by the Stutz family. We got into goats about eight years ago after see some adorable Nigerien Dwarf Goats at the Larimer County Fair. What started as a fun hobby now consumes most of our lives from milking twice a day to showing on the week ends. We now have Alpines, Oberhaslis, and Nigerian Dwarfs hence the name Tall & Small.

Apparently this time of year it takes me approximately a week to post show results lol. The 7th annual Colorado Showdown 4 ring show is now in the books and I'm elated with the results, I brought three goats to show and they all brought their "A" game, even sporting their winter woolies (Colorado weather, iykyk). 2 yr. old Tall & Small BT Dulce finished her permanent championship under Julie Matthys, GCH Tall & Small FF Co**ha (Dulce's dam) went Best of Breed under Julie Matthys and, last but not least, junior yearling Tall & Small BT Second Wind went Grand Champion under Julie Matthys and on to win Best Junior Doe in Show. Thanks, yet again, to Samantha Maclean for showing my girls off so beautifully and Kimberlee, Sam and Cleary for taking great pictures).

Weld County Goat Extravaganza , the first show of 2026 is in the books. So wonderful to catch up with my goat family after a long, dry winter. I'm pretty excited about this two year ff, Tall & Small BT Dulce who took Grand and BOB in Ring 2. It appears that she is following in her dam's footsteps (GCH Tall & Small FF Co**ha, 4th place with 3rd place udder 3 year old at 2025 ADGA Nationals). One more leg and Dulce will be a 5th generation permanent champion in my herd name. Thanks to Joseph and Hannah for really showing her off and Sam for making her look her best in her winter woolies.

What an exciting way to bring in the new year...GCH (pending) Tall & Small FF Co**ha (4th place/3rd udder three 3 year old at 2025 ADGA Nationals) is confirmed pregnant by AI to Wolfivan Tap Root *B (son of the 2025 Reserve National Champion GCH Wolfivan Valerian Root 4*M). With the purchase of my new junior herdsire, CA Blackberry's Space Dirt, I only planned one AI for 2025 and what what a special one to have settle on a single straw (thanks to Joseph Larson). I was anticipating to be overloaded with chocolate kids come spring but it appears there's going to be some "gold dust " sprinkled in there as well. I can't wait!

Super fancy buck kid for sale out of GCH (pending) Tall & Small FF Co**ha x Creosote Ranch TM LemonSqueezy *B. Co**ha was 4th place 3 yr. old with 3rd place udder at 2025 ADGA National Show and a 4th generation finished champion in my herd. At just one year of age, LemonSqueezy has 2 GCH and 2 RGCH wins under his belt with several really nice kids on the ground this spring (and he a Wolfivan Tahitian Monoi +*B son to boot). A proven pedigree of this quality is hard to come by at this price and he's flashy too. Registered and DNA on file from a health tested performance herd in northern Colorado. Very reasonable transport available enroute from here to Amarillo, TX mid-September and here to Sundance, Wyoming Sept. 19th.

Nebraska State Fair never disappoints and this year was no exception. It was a bit surreal returning to the amazing Fonner Park facility in Grand Island after just being there in July for ADGA Nationals. I travelled light with 4 juniors and 2 seniors. The juniors placed in the top five of their respective classes. Tall & Small Exotic Wyn ( 3 yr. old 2F) was my star performer earning Reserve Champion Nigerian Senior under both Tim Flickinger and Lauren Acton. Wyn placed behind a finished doe, earning two unrestricted legs and becoming the ✨14th✨ permanent champion in the Tall & Small herd name. Thanks to Harmody Alpines and Flower Lion Farm for the help, laughs and so many memories and to the show committee who kept everything running like clockwork. I am beyond blessed!

Party was 14th place three year old at 2023 Nationals in Redmond and has consistently produced nice kids. Born 4/22 and ready to work this fall. Free delivery available along I-80 from northern CO enroute to Nebraska State Fair August 25th or enroute from northern Colorado to Amarillo mid-September. I'm working on breeding plans and have come to the conclusion I have more than I need in this age group to freshen in 2026. Thus...I've decided to offer Sunset Plains T Take Two to a new home. Although "Switch" is not in my herd name she is my breeding several generations back. She is a two year old first freshener that kidded 5/4 with triplets that earned her milk star on one day test in late June with 4.2 #. Nice milk stand manners and very easy to have around. She is still in milk but can be dried off if desired. Free delivery along I-80 on my way to Nebraska State Fair on August 25th. Priced very reasonably for what she is! DM for more info.

Wyoming State Fair in the books ( #12, I believe) and always a favorite. Ca Blackberry's PL Swift made her show debut since joining my herd and came home with a Reserve Champion Jr. Doe under Erica Noble. GCH (pending) Tall & Small Co**ha was Best of Breed under Kelsie Wolbolt, and the icing on the cake was Tall & Small Exotic Wyn took home Best Udder in Show in both rings after a very late 2025 kidding. Best Udder in Show is a first for me! Thanks to all for the hard work put into this show to make it so enjoyable. I didn't get a picture of Co**ha on Sunday but here she is at Nationals in July. Wyn is pictured milked out. And now it's on to Nebraska State Fair in a few short weeks.
