Hi everyone! This is Hazel and Henry 🐓🥚

Our hens are laying more consistently again, and we’re excited to start filling regular egg orders! Our eggs are $5 per dozen and come from our very spoiled ladies who get lots of fresh greens and plenty of space to roam. 💛

Our eggs are always fresh—never more than a week old—and since we don’t have roosters with our laying hens, the eggs are not fertilized.

If you’d like farm-fresh eggs, just send us a message (our mom helps us with those 😊) to arrange a time to pick up a dozen—or more! We’re also happy to set up a regular pickup day if that works better for you.

Well… pull up a chair and let’s talk. 🤍

When you buy farm eggs, you’re not just buying what’s in the shell.

You’re buying:

🌾 Non-commercial feed
🌿 Scratch grains, greens, and bugs they hunt themselves
🏡 Hens with room to roam instead of rows of cages
🪺 Hand-gathered eggs — every single morning
❄️ Careful storage and small-batch handling
💛 Time, labor, and stewardship

DID YOU KNOW:

• Grocery store eggs can be weeks old before they hit the shelf.
• Store eggs are washed in a way that removes their natural protective bloom — which is why they must be refrigerated.
• Pasture-raised hens often lay eggs with darker, richer yolks because of a more varied diet.
• Smaller flocks mean better care — but they also mean we can’t compete with industrial pricing.

Around here, we believe if the Lord entrusted us with the animals, we ought to treat them right.

Farm eggs cost more because they are more — more care, more quality, more intention.

And truth be told?
Once you taste the difference, it’s hard to go back.

We aren’t trying to be the cheapest.
We’re trying to be faithful stewards.

Fresh eggs available from our happy hens!!

We have a few dozen eggs available are able to take on one or two more regular customers.

$5.00 per dozen. Never more than a week old and not fertilized.

We are looking for fertilized Button Quail eggs. We want to try to hatch some and Mom finally said yes!!!

We have a few ducklings available. Hatched 9/23.

Unfortunately we have had too many no shows so we are requiring a deposit to reserve as many as you would like.

Available for pickup Tuesday 9/30

Do you want ducks but don’t want to worry about the big mess most duck breeds make or the loud quacking. Then you want Muscovys! They don’t need a pond, they don’t quack and best of all, they will keep down the insects population without killing your plants!!

Henry has the cutest little frizzle silkie. He was devistated to hear him crow a few days ago. It’s a tiny little pathetic crow but a crow nonetheless and we can’t keep roosters where we are.
He would love to get a few dolllarbucks for him so that he can buy a few more and maybe end up with a female.

……. He does not live in the house, Henry just brought him in for pictures! He is very friendly and loves to be held 🤦🏻‍♀️ He is really dirty in these pictures, he just got done eating breakfast.

I have a male Muscovy that NEEDS a new home ASAP. The gray one.

Muscovy are usually very docile but this guy is a jerk. Come pick him up and he is yours to do whatever you would like with! Add him to your flock or your dinner table 😋
