Yesterday was weaning day for the first group of calves! It’s a pretty exciting calf crop, and offspring by Architect, Clarion, Armstrong, and True Grit are sire groups that are standing out. We’re looking forward to seeing these bulls and heifers develop!

As usual we didn’t take enough pictures, but that’s ok because this was a day we won’t forget anytime soon. It was a day filled with good food, good cattle, and most importantly, good people. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the neighbors, friends, and family who continue to show up to help and support us. Heifers to breed? These two fall bulls may be as good a calving ease options as you will find this spring!

Lot 6 is a Territory son with CED +12 and an actual BW of 71 lbs. His dam has 3 @ 88 BWR. It is almost impossible to find a calving ease bull with this much depth and dimension.

Lot 3 is a Clarion son with CED +9 and an actual BW of 69 lbs. Dam has 3 @ 97 BWR. He is +1.34 Marb and +349 $C.
