Today while having lunch at La Cocina de Pilar, Chief Tim Tubbs, Sergeant Madrazo, and I had the honor of meeting Valeria Avendaño, a graduate of United South High School who is currently serving our country in the U.S. Navy. Valeria mentioned that her whole strike group was awarded the presidential citation unit medal. It’s moments like this that give us hope knowing that our younger generation is headed in the right direction. I congratulate Valeria’s parents for the great job they did in raising their daughter. May God bless her always and may God bless the United States.🙏🏼🇺🇸
