Dad snapped a quick shot of MXP Brock On out in the brush after this last little rain we got. He looks good after a bath!

Will have another daughter of his, full sister to our Grand Champion at this year's San Antonio sale, getting consigned to the 2026 spring sale at Live Oak possibly!

So as much as it stinks to say it, we have officially dispersed the Brahman group after a lot of thought.

With dad having some health issues and one of our leases getting a little iffy, I decided it made more sense to cut the fat so to speak and stick to what we've always known best, our beefmasters. This will help us keep the groups simple and cut down on the miles that we put going between ranches, auctions, shows, etc.

Now the good news; they have been sold to a family member who was looking for some front pasture cows now that he's living out on his property. We will still be seeing them on occasion and I love my girls with all my heart!

We want to take a moment to thank all of our brahman friends who we met along the way and the great cattle they put in our hands that made the past few years such a blast! We will still be pestering you all in the show barns when we run into each other, no worries!

We started out with a goal and I think we hit the mark! Beautiful F1s like this guy here, gentle, and popular with our buyers.

"Frosty" is out of JDH Lady Jeena Manso 884 (middle cow behind him), our pasture queen. That makes him a half brother to the fan favorite and our profile photo, LFCC Admiral 0/23! I can't say for sure yet, but who knows? We might see him grace the ring as well!

Honorable mention to our other great mamas, Bentke Cattle Company 's Lady Lyssa 200/1 and 79 Cattle Company 's Ms. 8/22!

Quick update on Admiral! He's doing well and it looks like he's done quite a bit of growing. Hoping the new owners are loving his progress as much as we do.

I hardly recognized him in these photos!

M2/BRC Captain sired him and he's out of our favorite cow, JDH Lady Jeena Manso 884. A nice moderate frame with a LOT of thickness. Hard not to love these Captains!

Huge thank you to Saundra & Elton Lieke for their purchase of RGJR 64 today in San Antonio!

The Liekes have been great to us and our family for years, with us having purchased many of their heifers to add to our herds going back all the way to the 90s. To say it's an honor and a joy to have them choose something we bred is an understatement! We hope she does well for them and we can't wait to see the calves she produces for their family.

Thank you to everyone in San Antonio and the STBBA again for a great weekend that my father and I will never forget and for bringing joy to our family while my grandfather is in the hospital. He and my grandmother were crying tears of joy when we told them the news and it's a huge accomplishment for us as breeders that had never sold anything at public auction.

This means so much more to us than just money and we are thrilled that we could put that on display for everyone to see!

Here she is! Lot 20 at the San Antonio Rose Classic!

Make the correction to your catalog though, as this little fox is BRED! She was palpated during her health check and is 3 months safe in calf to C1187806, a great yearling bull that we just sold after passing his BSE at 16 months of age with a whopping 44cm scrotal circumference!
