Pullet eggs are generally smaller eggs that come from new layers.

We are excited to have chicks at the farm again. Blue Laced Gold Wyandottes, Barred Plymouth Rocks and an assortment of Brahmas.

The hens at Ward Ridge Farm have all unanimously decided on a staycation. That's right, they are going to chill out, grow some new feathers, indulge in massages from their care takers and lay an occasional egg....if they feel like it.

During this time, please be patient with us as we are running low on eggs. The girls however have promised they will get back to normal laying here soon. They just needed a little break from the daily grind.

At Ward Ridge Farm our eggs are washed within 3 days of our chickens laying to meet the US Department of Agriculture standards. We do this by candling our eggs to look for a variety of issues, the major one being cracks in the shell. Below are a few videos showing the types of cracks we see.

Guess what? We have some great news. Ward Ridge Farm and Farm to Fork Colorado are working together.

Our customers are important to us and with PineMelon closing its doors, this left us unable to get our eggs into our customers hands. We have had quite a few people all over the Denver-Metro area contacting us looking for ways to continue buying with us.
We even have people driving down from Brighton, Aurora and the Denver University area. While this makes us feel great that we have such amazing people that value what we provide, it also isn't sustainable. So we have been searching for ways to align our farm with a businesses we believe in while giving our customers a super simple way to get our eggs.
