Their premise is totally false. Since 2016 when the looney ecos coined the term beepocolypse hives in use have gone from 2 million to over 3 million. That's a 50% increase in colonies. All using the same hardware put forth by Langstroth in the mid 1800's. Stop the fear mongering.

How many times this season have you heard or sung "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...."? Well, in honor of the symbol of tradition, we're shining our on chestnut honey. Due to its bold flavor, it is often enjoyed with aged cheeses and in meat dishes.

It ALWAYS goes this way with these people - this is her reply when I simply refused to go down her rabbitt hole.

I am simply trying to be an educated consumer. As someone who is not a beekeeper, I am unfamiliar with how honey is produced, so I went to several beekeeping websites to find out what questions I should ask to ensure that the honey I buy is conscientiously produced.
I asked another local beekeeper these same questions and she readily and respectfully answered them. She was polite, open, transparent and willing to educate me as a consumer. You are none of these, and your unprofessional response is a huge red flag that reveals a lot about you and your production methods-far more than answering my questions would have.
