After a hard winter and a shaky start to the spring, we have had a beautiful planting season! The corn and beans are all in the ground, and we made more first crop hay then ever! In Norwegian, they call this time of year “Våronn,” which translates to “spring working period,” and boy are we glad that time of year is back. It’s been a fun one! 🚜☀️🌾👨‍🌾👩‍🌾🧑‍🌾🐄🌽

Lots of people have been asking how we are doing in this chilly Wisconsin weather! Tonight we finally started to thaw out a little bit! The calves started coming out to get some sun and the cows are moving a little faster! We are sore and tired from breaking ice and keeping everything running but with lots of preparation for this cold weather, we are getting through it! Couldn’t have done it without our team we have working here! Special thanks to all our employees who braved the cold. Even the highschool help came out Friday when school was canceled!
