Breeding season is here and our herd sire, Melman, is very happy it is! 🤣 (I can’t get over his face!)

The plan is to breed four goats this year. So far, Melman has successfully covered three of them. We’re just waiting on the fourth goat to come into season, and we will be done!

All Registered bottle baby bucklings will be available March 2026. (I’m keeping all the doelings. More milk for the soap and other offerings, don’tcha know?)

What was supposed to only take an hour, took us ALL. DAY. LONG. Even with my super helpers! But it was so worth it! Clean spaces are so much nicer to work in! I can’t wait to get to work!!!

The Old Magnolia restock and EXPANSION has finally happened! We are so grateful for the tremendous support Palestine has given us over the years and for the beautiful new space created by the new operators of Old Mag! Now we are able to offer even MORE of our products for your convenience!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Laundry detergent, dish soap bars, Comfrey Salve AND Frankinsence salve, along with all your usual favorites, just to name a few. Plus, we are debuting TWO new soap varieties! Patchouli & Lavender joins the 100% Pure soap line up, and Rose Oud has become part of our “Better Line” of goat milk soap.

All our products are Phthalate and Paraben free, thoughtfully packaged in environmentally friendly, recyclable containers, and utilize as many locally sourced or personally produced ingredients as possible. (We raise and milk our own goat herd for the soaps!)

As a reminder, only our “Better Line” of soap uses man-made fragrance oils which are phthalate and paraben free. EVERY other offering uses 100% pure essential oils to not only scent them, but give the benefits of topical application of the oils used.

Finishing up a batch of Elderberry Syrup for my family. I’m hoping to get Chad well by the weekend and keep everyone else healthy in the process.

Did you know Elderberry has been used for over 2000 years? The noted Greek physician Hippocrates himself referred to it as his “medicine chest,” and various indigenous North American tribes have been noted as using it as well.

Historically, Elderberry has been used to treat infections, fevers, swelling, and respiratory ailments. Today, we see Elderberry Syrup used to great effect to shorten colds and flus by as much as five days, and to give an overall boost to natural immunities.

And best of all, it only takes a little bit. 1 tablespoon a day (1 tsp for children) to keep those immmunities raring and ready to go. If you should get sick, simply take the above doses every three to four hours to knock it out. (Please note, since raw honey is used to sweeten the syrup, children under one year should refrain from enjoying this yummy goodness.)

My husband came home feeling under the weather last night and went straight to bed. This morning, I grabbed my Cozy Room and Linen Spray as soon as he got up and started spraying.

The Cinnamon and Clove essential oils in this spray are powerful germ killers! While they were making my room smell delicious, they were also killing cooties on our bedclothes AND in the air, making this all natural spray a great first line of defense against illness.

You notice, I sprayed my side of the bed, too. I refuse to get sick!!!
