🌽✨ Abundance was overflowing at Lopez Legacy Farms today. ✨🌽
This Juneteenth, we had the honor of welcoming community to the farm alongside Taylor Hood Farms for a day rooted in connection, celebration, and collective care.
As we walked through fields of corn buzzing with pollinators, shared food harvested from the land, gathered under shade structures, and spent time with friends, families, and neighbors, we were reminded that abundance is about so much more than what we grow.
Abundance is community.
Abundance is seeing people gather across generations.
Abundance is sharing knowledge, stories, meals, laughter, and dreams.
Abundance is creating spaces where people can reconnect with the land, with one another, and with possibilities for a more just and nourished future.
On Juneteenth, we honor the enduring legacy of Black freedom, resilience, innovation, and stewardship. We recognize that access to land, food, and self-determination are deeply connected to liberation, and we are grateful to be part of building community-centered spaces where those values can continue to grow.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the gathering, shared their gifts, and helped make the day so special. Thank you to Taylor Hood Farms for your partnership and vision. The fields are full, but our hearts are fuller.
