10.20.23 EVENT UPDATE:
We’ve decided to postpone HAUTE-O-WEEN with she’ll kick off our first event of 2024 instead!!!
Instead we’re hosting a RAISE-O-WEEN FUNDRAISER for to help ME + RED (my partner) finish up renovations.
Tragically, the general contractor took off without completing the job. He was paid to finish our bathrooms, flooring, bar, kitchen, and to install all of our doors.
This definitely isn’t the first or last time this will happen to someone or people. Unfortunately, it’s very common for GC’s to take off with their client’s money.
We are over 100k in and didn’t expect this BLOW. I was hoping we would be able to track him down, but we’ve had no luck. Therefore, some of the TRIBE convinced me to do a fundraiser instead. This is HUGE for me as I dislike asking for help.
We have our backs against the wall and have surpassed our deadline to get this place open. I’m usually the one helping or putting someone on or passing a client along — so, I’ve been told it’s time I ask for HELP.
While I hesitate to post this — I know the love and support is real. So, thank you in advance for helping us get to the finish line.
