New Year, same great root beer! We're kicking off production again of Cupps Beer Root after taking a break through the holidays. We do have new strategies, new tricks up our sleeves, and new resolve to get Las Vegas drunk on non-alcoholic, good-for-you, won't-contribute-to-bad-decisions, and especially, DELICIOUS Cupps Beer Root. (Las Vegas first, ultimately rolling out Nationally--because not EVERYthing that happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas). 🍻

“The Mrs” is our Lite version of Cupps Beer Root and we use Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar. Monk fruit is an actual dried fruit which is sold as an all natural processed sweetener. It is sold in a granulated form and is very expensive compared to regular Turbinado sugar.

I figured out how to process our own Monk Fruit sweetener with the actual dried Monk Fruit. This will be much cheaper for us as we brew “The Mrs”. The only difference for us is that we will use a liquid concentrate instead of granulated sweete

OK, so I nailed the recipe for THE MRS. Cupps LITE Beer Root. It was touch-and-go, and at times it didn’t taste so good but I kept experimenting with different sweeteners until I got it just right. Everything came together when I used the Monk Fruit sweeteners.

I estimate that the THE MRS Cupps LITE Beer Root is around 15 Calories versus around 185 Calories for original Cupps Beer Root which has raw Turbinado Cane Sugar and Brown Sugar.

THE MRS. tastes amazing and not just for a lite-diet version - it just tastes good - slightly different flavor but still delicious on its own. I’ll be sharing both to the world very soon!

Happy April Fool’s Day! We wanted to share a quick post about flavors. Most of the flavors to which we have collectively grown accustomed are not “real.” Think of the taste of a strawberry and then the taste of a strawberry candy. Watermelon flavor doesn’t taste like watermelon. Grape doesn’t taste like grapes. Snozberries don’t taste like snozberries. 😉 The taste of root beer is no different — it’s just a flavor and not the real deal. Our tastebuds have been fooled. But have no fear! Cupps Beer Root is a real brewed root beer (non-alcoholic, of course) with real ingredients and we’re excited to report we’re getting really close to being able to share the deliciousness with everyone! (No foolin’!) 🍻

Hi Everybody,

I’ve been working hard on a new “Lite” version of Cupps Beer Root. This new version was requested by “The Mrs” (AKA Autumn). This low calorie version has all natural sweetener and is around 30 calories verses 180 calories.
