Happy Winter Solstice! Penelope is building an igloo from frozen milk cubes to celebrate.
Did you know. We freeze our goat milk before making soap to keep it from burning and to keep our soaps light colored and smelling awesome!

Penelope and the goats love ❤️ the molasses scent of Chaffhaye that we feed. We have no waste feeding this cultured alfalfa product, which is a big deal -No one likes waste! Thank you to Chaffhaye LV for keeping it in stock!

This Oatmeal, Honey, Goat Milk Soap is almost done curing! (We cure bars for a minimum of 5 weeks after unmolding.) Next step is packaging and them they will be available for purchase.

Pen cleaning is a necessity for herd health. During the last clean out, I let the doelings "run free". (Yes, Rocky makes an appearance) #nigeriandwarfgoats #babygoats
Tractor Time! Moving the "Jankie Coop" to make it a "Jankie Run" off the new coop, one day it will be refinished and no longer jankie. At least it usable now.

Just under 24 hours on the farm. Loving that there was no night movement to record. It's great to see all of the dogs interacting well and not bothering the livestock.
Reveal Time - the newest addition to the Farm is a Livestock Guardian Dog, well puppy from Ranch O' Dreams. We look forward to seeing him grow and come into his own to help us keep the critters on the farm safe (in 2 years). He is an Anatolian, Turkish Boz, Akbash cross. #NameTBA
Excessive Heat Warning means getting projects done in the morning. The last "Horse-only" pen has been successfully converted to hold Does and their kids! Looking forward to moving over Star, Priss and Anna (+kids) when the automatic water arrives and is installed. #desertlife #heatwave #goats
