Scotty Beans is located within the Grandview Timeshare resort- the largest of its kind in Las Vegas. Our customers consist of resort employees, sales associates, and worldwide timeshare owners. We provide walk-up, poolside, and room service out of a small open kitchen. Professionalism and effective communication in English are paramount. All team members are assigned a primary responsibility but are cross-trained so that they can step into another position should the need arise. No cell phones will be allowed to be used while on duty.
We have FULL & Part-Time positions for days and swing shifts.

We prepare simple food-FAST! We serve a FULL menu of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner items out of a small kitchen that will need to be prepared without any assistance. There will be up to 10 open orders in process at any given time with 2 to 6 entre items per order. Efficiency and good timing will be necessary in order to get the orders out with speed and accuracy. We work out of an open kitchen and have constant interaction with our customers. Professionalism and good manners are imperative.
Cooks Receive an Equal Share of ALL tips.
Responsibilities and Duties

COOKS DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Handle multiple tickets with Speed & Accuracy
• Simultaneously prepare a variety of menu items to order
• Monitor food for freshness and safety
• Slice and Portion Meat and Cheese
• Wash and Prep Produce
• Maintain Clean Work Station and understand proper food storage
• Follow and complete a daily checklist
• Ability to effectively manage kitchen porters and delivery staff when available.
• Effectively manage room service deliveries with speed and accuracy.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Communication Skills: Communication is crucial in a kitchen. Our cooks will need to read orders, understand instruction and talk to their fellow workers to make sure the food is delivered hot and delicious.

Customer Service Skills: Customers may have special requests or complaints and must be handled with professionalism. We work out of an open kitchen. Our cooks will need to politely interact with our customers in English. Service with a smile will be necessary.

Teamwork: Our cooks are part of a larger team and will need to be able to work as a team in order to create a great dining experience for our resort owners and guests which may result in assisting other members of the team with their assigned task.
