There’s just something different about a big tomahawk hitting a hot grill. 🔥

Seasoned this monster with the NEW Heath Riles BBQ Steak & Chop Rub along with his SPG — and I’m telling you, this combination absolutely KILLS on beef. Incredible crust, killer color and BIG steakhouse flavor without covering up the beef.

Rack City BBQ is headed to EGGtoberfest 2026 in Atlanta! 🥚🔥

We’re loading up the gear, bringing a few friends along for the ride, and getting ready to throw down at one of the biggest Big Green Egg events of the year!

We’ll be firing up the Eggs and and using those Heath Riles BBQ rubs and seasonings as we bring a little Rack City BBQ flavor from Las Vegas to Atlanta! 🌵➡️🍑

Early this morning while my wife was sleeping, I slipped out and came home with a brand new … because apparently I make my best financial decisions before sunrise 😂🥚🔥

The plan was simple: quietly roll it through the house, get it to the backyard, and act like it had always been there. Unfortunately for me, the Ring camera caught the whole operation.

Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Now the only question is… what’s the first cook going on the Egg?

Vegas Baby VEGAS!!!! Love when we are close to home, this time at & for another Allstars BBQ Series. Our NVBBQA Family was rolling deep this weekend, always good cooking alongside our Nevada fam….  Being that we already had our golden ticket for the we test some new recipes on the Rib & Chicken front. Chicken was a rough go, which colored up faster than expected in the new brine and upon finishing was not as tender as expected, back to the drawing board on that one. The new rib recipe, injection and rubs created by us did well finishing 3rd. A couple of tweaks and we will run this one full time! Our wildcard was cook perfectly and happy to say we again took 1st !

We were in Boulder City this weekend for a competition we’ve been doing since 2009 — the Best Dam BBQ, one of our favorites being so close to home!

Saturday we competed in the SCA competition and the NVBBQA People’s Choice event to help raise money and promote BBQ here in Nevada. Congrats to on the decisive People’s Choice win!

On Sunday we competed in the KCBS contest and had a solid cook. We were happy with all four meats. When awards started, we only heard our name called for brisket and thought we may not have cracked the top 10… but we were wrong — we ended up taking 3rd Place Overall!

Congrats to on an incredible performance and securing his 2nd Grand Championship! Also congrats to for taking Reserve Grand Champion! All of those that heard their names called this weekend congrats!

Rolled into Rancho Cucamonga solo this weekend for another year of Allstars BBQ Series. This one is always a good time seeing a bunch of our Cali BBQ fam. We start off the morning a little rough with a late night out with the boys Friday night, but in the end we were able to finish strong and are headed back to Indy for the 2026 !!!
