It’s beginning to look a lot like fall around here…Finally! Our next round of fall/winter plants go in this week ☺️
Stop by to see us Sunday morning (9/4) 7am-sold! We’ll have these beautiful sunflowers, fresh eggs and some veggies. We’re excited to see you for our first farm stand 🥳
5661 Rowland Ave (we’ll have signs to help you find us)
All the pretty colors! You can definitely taste the difference in locally grown, all natural veggies.
Sometimes it’s nice to take a look at things from a different perspective🌤
It’s easy for me to be hard on myself, thinking about all the things we haven’t been able to do around here yet…Then, I see this and think about all that we HAVE done in less than a year. We came into this with no experience running a business, let alone farming. We’ve learned so much in such a short time and I know it only gets better from here. A huge thank you to those of you sticking along for the ride with us 😊
Farm fresh eggs are EGGciting! Did I mention we have blue eggs now? 🤩
Hey Alexa, play “Rain is a Good Thing” by Luke Bryan 😉
The plants (and our crew) have really appreciated the rain and much needed temperature drop these last few days!
Happy Monday! It is “Mom Monday” here on the farm today. Since we took over, this farm has been a family affair 100%. Both my mom and mother in law have made it out almost every Monday since November to help out.. Super grateful for all the support we have 🥰
Nature is pretty cool! We will have these beautiful daikon radishes available next week
Round ✌️ If I’ve learned anything around here, it’s to keep trying and trying when things don’t work the first time. Eventually it has to work, right??
Found our first jalapeños in the garden. So, naturally my husband had to pick them and insisted we try them.
So.Spicy. 🥵 If you’re a fan of spice, you are going to love these fresh peppers. Coming soon!
Don’t tell the others, but I think I have a favorite chicken 🫣
The first eggs from our youngest flock of hens. This was a surprising, exciting find in their coop!
It’s about to get a whole lot sunnier around here 😍
When we’re not on the farm, the mountains are definitely our happy place. We got engaged there, married there and it’s where we’ll take the pups any chance we get. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s not 100°+ up there 😜
Eggplants coming very soon! It’s like these just grew overnight 🫢
Our hardest workers 🐝
We were featured in this week’s edition of Las Vegas Weekly. Thank you SO much to and her team for taking the time to learn about the farm 🥰

Tomatoes are on the horizon! 🍅
6 months later and we’re still here. I’ll take that as a win! This journey hasn’t been easy but there are so many things that make it worth it. Like finding this pretty free-ranger 🙂
Who’s ready for some zucchini?! We will have our first harvest available for the CSA next week 🤩
Lipstick on a pig… Isn’t she BEETiful?😉
On Tuesdays, we pack eggs 🐓🥚 It always amazes me how many eggs our hens can produce each week!
I spy summer squash!
We took the last week off to spend some time with family and recharge. We are back, reenergized and ready to take on the upcoming summer season 🥳
Oxheart carrots, this week on CSA! I call them cartoon carrots…they’re so short & chunky, they don’t even look real 🥕
Our taste tester... He approves of this week’s cauliflower 😌
No veggies go to waste around here 🐷
This was a big week for us. We flipped and transplanted 10+ beds. While that may seem like normal life on the farm, it is a big deal to us. This spring/summer season will be our first absolutely on our own. We have big shoes to fill and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared out of my mind. I know we won’t be perfect, ever, let alone our first year… Farming is an art that takes time to master. But I’m praying and hopeful that we will have a beautiful, healthy, bountiful farm in the months come 🥰
I know how to operate a John Deere, I must really be a farmer now 🤪
Napa is back for the CSA! Just in time for St. Patrick’s day corned beef & cabbage 🍀 A yearly family tradition!
Ingredients:
4 large carrots, peeled and cut into matchstick pieces
10 baby red potatoes, quartered
1 onion, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
4 cups water
1 (4 pound) corned beef brisket with spice packet
6 ounces beer
½ head cabbage, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
Place the carrots, potatoes, and onion into the bottom of a slow cooker, pour in the water, and place the brisket on top of the vegetables. Pour the beer over the brisket. Sprinkle on the spices from the packet, cover, and set the cooker on High.
Cook the brisket for about 8 hours. An hour before serving, stir in the cabbage and cook for 1 more hour.
Enjoy 😋
Every so often, I like to pull up some of the root veggies to see how they’re growing.. I love how perfectly round & red these are 😋 Anyone in need of some mini red radish?!
Let’s talk spinach! So simple, yet one of my favorite things we have growing right now. It is HUGE, packed full of vitamins, and so hearty. Best part, it actually won’t disappear when you cook it 😉
So many new things popping up around the farm 😊 They’ll be making their appearance on the CSA in about 2 weeks!
Waiting patiently for a fresh snack 🥕
You never know what each day will bring on the farm. Today, it was a radish the size of a football!
Our new generation of hens! So many pretty babies in here, we’re going to have a beautiful flock.. And some blue eggs by summertime 😉
Find yourself a partner that says yes when you have the crazy idea to buy a farm (even though you have no experience) and spends his days off harvesting carrots with you.
Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️
We have a new face on the farm. Say hello to Copper! 🥰
I’ve been waiting so long to harvest this broccoli….This week on CSA!
Our sign-ups are still live, grab a spot while you can!
Fresh, local, and naturally grown veggies. Friendly reminder that REAL food is not perfect... There may be a little dirt, maybe even a bug or two, but nothing that a quick rinse can’t fix!
