10 years gone in an instant 💔
Yesterday morning, a fire tore through the shopping plaza near UNLV where our small, family-owned business has lived for the past decade. While our storefront is still standing, the damages to the roof, interior and building structure are extensive. At this time, it seems likely that our store will be a total loss.
While we’re deeply grateful that no one was hurt, our hearts are still heavy with grief for what’s been lost. Our family built this shop with our own hands - every wall and every corner carried the weight of our love, sweat, tears, and dedication over the past 10 years. Chewy Boba wasn’t just a place of business - it was part of our lives, and a home for our team and the community that we love.
Our hearts go out to the other small businesses in the plaza who lost their spaces as well. We know firsthand how much care and sacrifice it takes to build something from nothing, and we’re grieving this devastating loss alongside them.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Chewy Boba over the years. Your kindness, loyalty, and love have meant more than we can say. 💛
Though we’re heartbroken by this loss, our other Chewy Boba location is still open in Town Square. We’re grateful to have a small piece of normalcy as we try to move forward and figure out what’s next for our family and for our team.
