MexiKo Cocina Kosher Shalom y Bienvenidos a MexiKo Cocina Kosher! Recipes, YouTube videos, and local home cooked meals I have recently started embracing Judaism on a religious level.

Have you ever passed by a Mexican restaurant and smelled the juicy carne asada grilling, your stomach tells you to enter but you know the truth... it's not Kosher! Sadly there aren't enough Kosher restaurants in town, let alone Mexican cuisine where their dairy and meats mix. I'm here to help, my dream is to one day open a chain of Kosher Mexican restaurants but until that day I want to share with

you some delicious recipes you can try this very Shabbat. First let me introduce myself, My name is Krystal Layla and I am Jewish both Ashkenazi & Sephardic background. I do take into consideration my lineage very much but my heart has always found its love for Mexico. I grew up in San Diego, CA so basically Tijuana, Mexico was my backyard. As a border kid I was fortunate to have both American and Mexican worlds collide. I have gone through many journeys spiritually and emotionally that I have finally found home with Judaism. With that said I have taken my cooking skills seriously to be able to give my family an authentic Mexican Kosher meal. I would love to share all my recipes with you.
