Hey friends, I've been absent from social media for the last few weeks, I've been busy renovating the farm. Just in time for a surprise visit today from one of my YouTube heroes--John Kohler from ! He dropped by our Sunday open farm and shot a video on how to consume TONS of microgreens. I thought I was extreme when it came to microgreen consumption, but John put me to shame!! I got to enjoy a microgreen smoothie and a blended salad using our micros, both made in his vacuum blender. I'm riding a pretty awesome microgreen high right now, let me tell you! I feel absolutely amazing! If you're not already, subscribe to his channel to catch the video when it comes out, the recipes he shares will get anyone ! 💚🌱

A couple PB&M sandwiches inspired by the recent IG post of . (Guilford set the bar with their PB and sunflower sandwich yesterday, go check it out!) It encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try some other combinations. Purple Sango/Red cabbage blend on one, broccoli/kale/bok choy/sunflower blend on the other. Plus PB, banana, and a drizzle of honey on seeded bread. I was a little skeptical about the radish before tasting, but it was better than I expected. I devoured them both in one sitting. 💚🌱

Majestic golden pea shoots. We just recently started growing these for a local restaurant. Sweeter and less "grassy" tasting since they don't have their chlorophyll. These start off the same as our regular pea shoots, but instead of exposing them to light after germination, they'll remain in total darkness until it's time to harvest, after about a week. 💚🌱

Winning combo here, inspired by friend of Addicted to Microgreens and fellow micro enthusiast ! She turned me onto these Trader Joe's seeds and grains crispbreads (delish!) and suggested topping with avocado and microgreens, plus a touch of balsamic vinegar and sea salt. Perfect balance of taste and texture and super easy to prepare, too! Wendy and I have plans to teach a class together here in Vegas soon. Microgreens + Nutrition. Microgreen addicts, rejoice! I've been adding these into my diet and I'm feeling amazing! Quickest way to get your greens in, that I've found!

Add 2 ounces frozen micros (one of our medium clamshells, any variety) to a blender. Add just enough water to facilitate blending. Process until smooth, drink immediately, and feel yourself glow!

On to new beginnings, friends! You will not find us at the markets anymore, but stay connected with us while we adapt and take off in new directions!

For the time being, we invite everyone interested to drop by the farm this Sunday, from 10-2 at our warehouse/farm at 6380 McLeod Dr. Ste 4, Las Vegas, NV 89120, it's our long overdue open farm event. Enjoy growing demonstrations, refreshments, and meeting other microgreen addicts!! We'll also have greens for sale!
