While every animal is different, Highlands are often described as curious, intelligent, and people-friendly when raised with regular human interaction.

One of the things I've learned while building Cain's Cuddly Cows is that dreams don't happen overnight.

Sometimes the most important part is learning, asking questions, meeting the right people, and being patient enough to wait for the right opportunities.

Every visit to a farm, every conversation, and every new follower reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.

So while the cows aren't home yet, the dream is still growing every day. ā¤ļø

Sometimes the hardest part of building a dream is being patient.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit a Highland cattle farm and spend time with some truly amazing cows. Experiences like that reminded me why I'm building Cain's Cuddly Cows in the first place.

I could rush out and buy the first calves I find, but that's not what Cain's Cuddly Cows is about.

I want the right cows. Gentle cows. Cows that genuinely enjoy being around people.

So I've decided to wait.

It may take longer than I planned, but I'd rather build something special than build something fast.

I've even had the chance to meet some cattle that may play an important role in the future of Cain's Cuddly Cows, and that makes me even more excited for what's ahead.

In the meantime, I'll keep learning, preparing, and sharing the journey with all of you.

Thank you for believing in this dream. The cows may not be home yet, but the dream is still growing. šŸ®ā¤ļø

Happy Motherā€™s Day šŸ¤

Today feels a little different this year.

Cainā€™s Cuddly Cows was built from love, family roots, old memories, and the kind of comfort only home can bring. My momma may not be here physically anymore, but pieces of her are in this dream everywhere.

The softness.
The comfort.
The ā€œlove your people hardā€ kind of feeling.

I think thatā€™s why this little dream matters so much to me.

So today Iā€™m sending love to all the moms, the daughters missing their moms, the grandmas, bonus moms, animal moms, and anyone carrying love and loss at the same time.

Not perfect. Not finished. Not fancy.

But itā€™s real.

This is the space where Cainā€™s Cuddly Cows is coming to lifeā€”out here on my dadā€™s property, one step at a time. Thereā€™s still work to do, things to figure out, and probably a few ā€œwhat am I doing?ā€ moments along the wayā€¦

ā€¦but itā€™s happening anyway.

No big grand opening. No overnight success story. Just showing up, putting in the work, and building something I believe in.

It might not look like much yetā€”but I can already see it.

The cows. The quiet. The moments where people come out here, slow down, breathe, and just be for a while.

MEET THE OWNER šŸ¤šŸ„

Hey, Iā€™m Meganā€”the one behind Cainā€™s Cuddly Cows.

Iā€™m not a big corporation. Iā€™m not a lifelong farmer with everything perfectly figured out. Iā€™m just a woman who works long days, comes home tired, and still decidedā€¦ I wanted more than just getting through life.

So Iā€™m building something different.

This didnā€™t come from having extra time, extra money, or a ton of support. It came from a moment of ā€œthere has to be more than thisā€ā€”and choosing to go after it anyway.

Cainā€™s Cuddly Cows is my way of creating something real. A place where you can slow down, breathe, and forget about everything for a minute. Where you can brush a cow, laugh a little, and feel your whole body justā€¦ settle.

Because life gets heavy. And sometimes the simplest things help the most.

Iā€™m strong, Iā€™m stubborn, and yeahā€”Iā€™m probably building this whole thing fueled by caffeine, determination, and a little bit of ā€œwatch me.ā€

But itā€™s also built with heart.

So whether youā€™re here to follow the journey, support the dream, or one day come out and cuddle a cowā€¦ Iā€™m really glad youā€™re here šŸ¤
