It's been a minute because I've been busy getting ready to open up a coffee shop! Eggs will be available there for purchase or pickup!
But we have a few new baby peacocks and our other 2 are starting to get big🥰

We've been our typical hot mess over here at the farm! Fighting rain one day and heat the next all while taking care of all the newest babies🖤

The side of farm life not everyone sees... we had severe flooding and storms in our area, the power went out and one of our coops up and blew 30 ft away. When the worst of the thunderstorm finally passes we went straight outside and worked for almost 2 hrs in the downpour to make sure everyone stayed dry and the flooding was managed. When we were finishing up the last coop we found 10 brand new baby chicks😅 Of course they were hatched by my Golden Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben who unfortunately is a great brooder but doesn't make a very good mom so we had to bring them inside and all are now curled up in a towel beneath my sweater since we still have no power so I cant get them under a heat lamp.

🌻 Exciting things are happening at Chaos Acres Farm! 🐓🦆🥚

We're getting ready to set up a self-serve farm stand right here at the farm! Soon you'll be able to stop by to pick up fresh eggs and even choose your own chicks or ducklings directly from our brooders and transition pens (as availability allows).

Our goal is to make it easier for our local community to access fresh farm products while getting a chance to see where they're raised.

We're also interested in supporting other local small businesses! If you create handmade goods, baked treats, jams, honey, crafts, plants, soaps, or other locally made products and would be interested in having them featured in our farm stand, we'd love to chat. Feel free to send us a message and let's see if we can work together to support local businesses and our community.

We're excited to grow this little corner of Chaos Acres Farm and can't wait to share it with all of you! ❤️

So everyone makes fun of us for having a duck names Chicken but this is why.... prior to these pictures I tried to put her in the the other ducks and she was a bully and wanted nothing to do with them. As soon as i put her in with the chicks she cuddles right down with them🖤
