D6Farms began in 2012 with a mother’s heart, a family’s prayer, and a desire to help our daughter after she was diagnosed with colitis. As we searched for natural ways to support her health, we were introduced to the incredible benef
its of LaMancha dairy goats and fresh goat milk—and our journey began. Our farm name, D6Farms, holds special meaning to us. “D” stands for our last name, Danner, and the “6” represents our family—mom, dad, and our four children. This farm was built by all of us, together, and family is at the center of everything we do. What started with just a few goats has grown into a farm we are deeply proud of. Our LaManchas are pasture-raised, well cared for, and truly part of our family. We believe that healthy, happy goats produce the best milk, and that belief guides our daily work here at D6Farms. That same farm-fresh goat milk eventually opened the door for us to expand beyond the pasture and into the community. We are incredibly thankful to now operate our organic bath and body shop in Florala, Alabama—2 Gals & A Goat. Every product we create is rooted in our farm, our faith, and our family’s story. We are grateful for the journey God has led us on—from a health challenge to a purpose-filled calling—and for every person who supports our farm and our small business.
