Our farm store is open on the weekends, but you can order meat anytime by messaging or calling!

It is unfortunately official…... After 8 years of being at our farm, a mistake I made caused animals get out and visit the neighborhood…. (I overlooked a connecting electric wire for the side of their paddock)

Our donkeys , our “Golden Girls”- Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia decided to make their rounds and say hi. We are sincerely sorry for the commotion they may have caused this morning. They are very nice ladies I swear!

Thank you to everyone who reached out to notify us! Big thanks to our neighbors who helped keep an eye on them until we arrived. It was an uneventful roundup. Once they saw the grain lady had arrived, they came running back!

A HUGE thank you to the Decker Family! Trevor & Taylor Decker took Paisley under their wing and asked her to help assist them in showing their calf Enzo in the cow calf classes! She loved every bit of it!

We had the best week with Laura, Bethany, Charlie and Johnnie! They were the greatest help when learning about how to show our goats and learning to trim, how to show and everything else under the sun!

It was a LOOOOOONNNGGGG week but we are so excited to go back next year!

This last week definitely didn’t go as we had planned on the farm. As everyone does, we too always hope and pray for easy weeks, good weather, “healthy equipment” and healthy family and friends. We had big plans on completing projects and getting hay in the barn, building fences and getting ready for the upcoming weeks……

Then life hit us a hard reality check. Its so easy to become busy in our lives that days, weeks and monthly fly by. You get so busy ( as everyone does ) that we lose sight and forget to slow down and take everything in.

Last week we lost one of our biggest cheerleaders and supporters, Scott’s Grandma Rosemary Stephens. Grandma loved to hear about everything farm. From what we were doing, to what animals were added, to what our next visions were. Grandma loves to see her great grandchildren and watch them play, listening to their tales about farm adventures and their own big ideas (no matter how ridiculous) And from time to time Grandma would regale us with her own stories of growing up as a farm kid and the fun they had.

It was bittersweet reminiscing with family, many that we do not get to see often enough.💜 Grandma lived an amazing life, and she will missed by so many. She was an absolutely amazing person, you can’t help but smile when you hear her name.
