This last week definitely didn’t go as we had planned on the farm. As everyone does, we too always hope and pray for easy weeks, good weather, “healthy equipment” and healthy family and friends. We had big plans on completing projects and getting hay in the barn, building fences and getting ready for the upcoming weeks……

Then life hit us a hard reality check. Its so easy to become busy in our lives that days, weeks and monthly fly by. You get so busy ( as everyone does ) that we lose sight and forget to slow down and take everything in.

Last week we lost one of our biggest cheerleaders and supporters, Scott’s Grandma Rosemary Stephens. Grandma loved to hear about everything farm. From what we were doing, to what animals were added, to what our next visions were. Grandma loves to see her great grandchildren and watch them play, listening to their tales about farm adventures and their own big ideas (no matter how ridiculous) And from time to time Grandma would regale us with her own stories of growing up as a farm kid and the fun they had.

It was bittersweet reminiscing with family, many that we do not get to see often enough.💜 Grandma lived an amazing life, and she will missed by so many. She was an absolutely amazing person, you can’t help but smile when you hear her name.
