We’re proud to introduce Bull Mountain Veterinary Hospital—a locally owned, veteran-owned and operated veterinary hospital built to serve the pets and people of Roundup and the surrounding communities.

We’re Dr. Jade and Nick Johnston. Along with our two boys, Teddy and Hank, we’re proud to call the Bull Mountains home. Taking ownership of this hospital is more than a business venture for our family—it’s an opportunity to put down roots, serve our neighbors, and build something our community can depend on for years to come.

Our mission is simple: provide exceptional veterinary medicine, communicate honestly, treat people with respect, and care for every animal as if they were our own.

As we enter a new season, many are asking when we will be where they are. We’ve come up with this map as a general guideline!! Keep in mind that these lines and dates are somewhat fluid, but they should be fairly close! Looking forward to seeing you all soon!!

I misread an order and then had some extras leftover from an order so now we have....

These are frozen so they can be baked at your convenience!

Dairy cows are notorious for having poor body conditioning and owners saying, "no it is just cause they are a dairy cow" or "they are just hippy and not thin". In the photo below, dairy cows should be at 3.

Your dairy cow is not meant to look emaciated. Proper nutrition is important. Buying large somes of poor quality feed will not fix your cow, it can actually cause issues. Mineral regiments play a role in your cow looking good too. Just like us, if they are low on something(vitamin A, magnesium, selenium...etc) it makes it harder for them to pull and properly use the nutrients given.

It isn't a one size fits all equation so if you are new to all that and feel like your cows need some work, it is best to consult a vet and or a nutrionalist.

You guys are just fantastic! We have been rolling in orders and our milk has been flying off the shelf, which gives me a nice reprieve on making cheese.

Today I was able to provide a healthier alternative, to the traditional store cupcakes, for a sweet family so they could celebrate a birthday.

These are strawberry cupcakes with a strawberry frosting & chocolate cupcakes with a blue vanilla frosting!

Our cows are fed organic grain and out on lots of pasture 🥰

Billings residents are reporting on social media that milk is spoiling days before its expiration date, and the complaints have now triggered a full investigation by the Montana Department of Livestock.

The spoiled milk does not seem to be isolated to a single brand or store.
