Lynn and I enjoyed our time while at the Master Gardeners meeting Monday. Great time sharing our sorghum syrup and grits and cornmeal interest.

Willis Farms will be at the Foothills Farmers' Market this Saturday 4/4/26 from 8-12 noon. We have our sweet sorghum molasses and heirloom cornmeal and grits, in both Jimmy Red (red) and Limbercobb (white). We do offer a coarse grind grit along with our regular grind. Lynn is making some of her sorghum cookies for folks to try, so come on by and get one. Looks like the weather is going to be great. In one of the pictures I had my nose the grindstone. Also a photo of the Jimmy red cornbread with its darker speckled look and one of my favorites, ice cream, pecans and sweet sorghum syrup drizzled on, a few cherries don’t hurt either!!

Willis Farms will be at Hickory Farmers Market
Satuday 3/28/26 from 10 am till 1:00 pm. We will have our heirloom cornmeal and grits and sweet sorghum molasses. Included in post are a couple recipes. One is for a sorghum vinaigrette salad dressing which we have featured before and another for Hoe Cakes using our cornmeal. We only have a few more gallons of our sweet sorghum syrup in 16oz, 12oz and 8oz jars and jugs. Come get it while supplies last or it might be fall before we have any more. After Saturday we will be limited on attending the farmers market until late fall after our sorghum has been processed. Of course we will have our farm store open and should have a good supply of cornmeal and grits. We can also ship, just message me or give us a call. Thanks to all of our valuable customers. Oh yea we will have sorghum cookies for you to try at the market. See you Saturday.
