Ryan's staff pick! ⭐️ Giant Crinum Lilies were one of Ryan's experiments about 15 years ago in the hardy tropical test garden. The original "Infusion" is still a rocking mother plant that we propagate all of our infusion crops from.

They have shown to be resilient through every extreme artic winter storm and heat wave KS throws at them. They are also one of the first hardy tropicals to start growing, and can get a good head start by March to April. Compared to most that need the temps to be consistently in the 80's (usually mid to late May) to start their grow season.

- Drought tolerant once established
- Thrives in full sun and dapple/part shade
- Striking large 6" plus trumpet-like blooms ranging in shades of deep magenta to soft pinks and white depending on the variety. With 'Super Ellen' being the largest that we grow.
- Foliage creates a fountain of long twisting glossy leaves that grow all year (no mid season dormancy like most ornamental lilies!) that can grow up to 5' tall and 4' wide. Adding lushness and depth to an empty garden space, with a clump forming growth habit that stays where you plant it.
- Low maintenence, long lived and an all around funky accent plant to jazz up any flower garden! ✨️🌸🎺

Kim's Staff Pick! 🦋

Orange Butterfly W**d, Aesclepias tuberosa is a native milkweed with incrediblly showy orange flowers. It is a low growing perennial that thrives in full sun with dry, rocky, and well draining poor soils. Its perfect for rock gardens, meadows, and sunny borders.

Their orange bouquets provide nutricious nectar for hummingbirds and pollinators. And as a milkweed they are a crucial host for Monarch butterfly caterpillars! This short prairie beauty has so much ecological value and grit!
