I stopped at my favorite farm and before I grabbed my goodies, I learned a lot about swallowtail butterflies and caterpillars🥹 I have to share!

Pic 1 is an egg. By day 3 this tiny egg will turn black and hatch a tiny black caterpillar as in pic 2. Don't worry, in pic 3, no caterpillars were harmed! I was being shown the horns that hurt people and other things that are not careful. The scent resembled dirty, stinky socks😅

Pic 4 is a 5 day old caterpillar and pic 5 is the mother of the egg on my recently purchased rue plant🥰 I just love nature✌🏽
