More experiments. 🍪

Side note: I think the key to cookies that are nice and chewy and not too flat might be replacing the all-purpose flour with a combination of cake flour and bread flour. It worked miracles on my chocolate chip cookies, so I’m going to try it with some others.

What flavor should I experiment with next?

Some people come to me with a very clear idea of what they want, design-wise. But for those of you that don’t, please consider ordering one of these design that I’m dying to try!

Note: if you order one of these cakes, it will NOT look exactly like the picture. Partly because some of these are AI, partly because I like to put my own spin on designs rather than directly copying someone else’s work, and partly because this will be my first time trying any of these designs and there’s always a learning curve. 😄

******************

Just to reiterate, none of these pictures are my work; they’re pictures of techniques that I want to experiment with.

Experimenting with cookies. Not sure yet if it will turn into anything official. 🍪🤷‍♀️

I always appreciate when people take a chance on me. This order was placed by an out-of-state mom for her daughter at KU, so all she had to go on was the pictures on my page. Glad I could validate her choice by creating this adorable cake!

A busy summer in my personal life has meant less business for Janna Bakes, but I did manage to squeeze in these cute golf-themed baby shower cupcakes a few weeks ago (and was so busy that I forgot to post them until now 🤣).

Some cake orders are just a little extra special. This one is celebrating 3 years sober. 💜
