“Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children” (Quote widely attributed to Sitting Bull…have seen some claims this came from Red Cloud, but I am not interested in arguing about it. Not sure that they would be either.)

This is my favorite photo of Sophia’s (youngest of the Two Sisters) KU graduation day. Some True Two Sisters Power!!

Have to say that one of my most cherished experiences of being at market for all these years is watching the children grow. Truly a blessing of growing older!

We will be there tomorrow with some awesome red butter lettuce, loads of romaine, tons of green leaf lettuce, arugula, basil, a bit of red leaf, duck eggs and chicken eggs. See you all in the morning! Be well.

A wise man once said: “If you encounter a man with no problems—get him a goat!”

Last couple of weeks with Mothers Day last weekend and KU graduation this weekend have been super busy for us! We blasted through a ton of greens, but will still have a bunch of red butter lettuce, a little green butter
lettuce, a bunch of really nice green leafs, some red leafs, romaine, a ton of awesome arugula, kale, cilantro, chicken eggs and duck eggs. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the morning. Be well all!

Our bull is a self-appointed market harvest supervisor. He posts up outside the greenhouse every time we harvest waiting to sample the goods! It seems this round of spring mix has passed the test. Nice n crunchy!

We will have red and green butter lettuce, a bit of romaine, arugula, basil, red leaf and green leaf, duck eggs, chicken eggs, and some bull-certified spring mix! See you all in the morning!

We had a very challenging start to the week with 5 inches of rain in about 3 hours! Greenhouse flooded for the first time in several years. The rains silted in our pack room, flooded our reservoir tank with wicked mud (requiring a shop vac clean out), and filled what was pretty much an empty pond in one night! We got everything cleaned up and are back in business!

We will be at market tomorrow with green and red butter lettuce, romaine, green oakleaf, couple varieties of red leaf, basil, kale, chicken eggs and duck eggs. Also super happy to say I will have one of the Two Sisters (Sophia) present in to help serve you all! See you all in the morning!

Hope you all survived our most recent round of exciting/terrifying weather! Things got pretty interesting here last night, but we came out of it with only a little damage to one hoophouse.

We will have loads of nice green butter and red butter lettuce, a little romaine, red and green leaf lettuce, spring mix, kale, basil, duck eggs and chicken eggs.

I also messed up and forgot to get more ones for change tomorrow, so if anyone has some I’d be very pleased to receive them! See you all in the morning!

Oh forgot to say that we will be in the same spot we were last year at Matt Ross!

Good afternoon all! Need to let you all know that we will not be at Matt Ross tomorrow. Official market starts next week and we need a break before we settle into the season! Going to have pretty much every variety we grow available by next Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you all for opening day 2026!

Looks like we will have some seasonally appropriate weather tomorrow! In light of that, we will be at Matt Ross from 9-12 again or until the greens run out. We will have lots of nice green butter lettuce, a little bit of romaine, green leaf, red leaf, loads of arugula, kale, a bit of cilantro, spring mix, chicken eggs and duck eggs. See you all in the morning!

We will be back at Matt Ross tomorrow. Going to be a wee bit too warm for this time of year!! Planning to be there a little bit earlier than the last few weeks to beat the heat. (That’s a weird thing to say this time of the year!).

Should be ready to go by 8:30 and will stay until 11:30 or the greens run out.

We will have green butter lettuce, green leaf lettuce, tons of arugula, some kale, red leaf lettuce, chicken eggs and duck eggs. See you all in the morning!
