Lucy decided to give us a surprise this morning.

We found Ms Lola this morning when we went out to milk.

Lola and Lucy are doing great. We got them moved from the maternity pasture to the milking pasture. Lucy is excited to be on new grass and Lola was just along for the move.

When Lucy faked us out Sunday and still hasn’t had her calf.

We are now 2 days past her due date and showing progression but no baby.

Hoping it’s soon!

09/20/2026

Today is Ms. Lucy’s due date.

We have been watching her for the last week for signs of labor, not until this evening did we see some very prominent signs it’s close. We are starting our every 3 hr check on her and will continue until her sweet calf arrives.

We are thinking in the next 24hrs we will see that baby!
