We had a structure fire on our VA farm yesterday. We lost Mark’s favorite tractor and the hay wrapper along with smaller tools and a few antiques that were stored in the building. Luckily no one was hurt. Things can be replaced. We’re very thankful for all our volunteer firefighters who showed up and put the fire out quickly. Thankfully they kept it from spreading to the other barns. 🚜

Our steak freezer as of NOW! I'm not sure how long they will last. I just finished filling it up. Smoked brisket is back in stock also. Kenneth at Mitchell's butchery does an excellent job with it.

Our beef is being cut on Friday and I am planning on picking it up Saturday morning! We are getting a whole beef and a half. Then next week we will have a whole beef in hamburger and another whole beef with all the normal cuts! The third week we will have another whole beef. That's three weeks in a row! Hopefully that will fill our freezers to overflowing with lots of extra. 🥩🎉👏🏻 🥩
