Carrots during winter are best carrots ever, so tasty and sweet!

Let’s talk carrots!
I plant carrots a few times a year. I dig them as we need them, they have overwintered in the ground. I’ve harvested in the dead of winter during our “Dec/jan thaw” in mild years we harvest right through winter. Colder years I’ve let them stay in the ground and pull come spring. What’s your method?

Fall is here and hoping it makes a full fall appearance.

Sad to see summer fade but love the fall. Even though everything gets so heavy lol!!

I didn’t grow the mums they were grown by a high school in Kalamazoo, beautiful!!!

So many winter squash and pumpkins stating to come on. Most excited about the sweet Georgia candy roasters, we may have a bunch if the critters quit munching on them!

I hope fall is here and stays for an extended period of time, winter can’t wait!!!!!
