🥃🔥 Booker’s The Reserves 2026 has landed — and this year’s release is a major curveball.

For 2026, Booker’s took Kentucky Straight Rye Wh***ey, aged it 6 years, 2 months and 23 days, then finished it in apple brandy barrels with cinnamon. It’s bottled uncut at 125.1 proof, exactly the kind of full-strength Booker’s profile collectors expect.

This is especially interesting because Booker’s almost never releases rye. The 2026 Reserves is only the second rye release in Booker’s history, following the highly sought-after Booker’s Rye from 2016.

Beam’s notes point toward apple and seasoned oak on the nose, then barrel char, vanilla and caramel, finishing with a warm apple-pie character.

🥃🔥 Willett Pot Still just got turned all the way up.

The new Willett Pot Still Reserve Cask Strength has officially landed, and this is the first time Willett has taken its familiar Pot Still Reserve and bottled it at natural cask strength instead of proofing it down.

This is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon made from a mash bill of 65% corn, 20% wheat, and 15% barley. It enters the barrel at 115 proof, then gets bottled at whatever natural proof that batch reaches.

The bottle pictured is Batch 24C21, coming in at 120 proof.

And this won’t be an everyday release either. Willett says the Cask Strength version is planned as a twice-a-year release around the spring and fall equinoxes, with the proof changing from batch to batch.

So if you’ve always liked the iconic Willett Pot Still bottle but wished the wh***ey inside had a little more horsepower… here you go.

🥃 Heaven Hill just did something new with Bottled-in-Bond.

Meet the new Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash — a 9-year-old, 100-proof bourbon that combines two of Heaven Hill’s signature bourbon styles in the same bottle.

The blend is:
🥃 2/3 traditional bourbon mashbill — 78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley
🌾 1/3 wheated bourbon mashbill — 68% corn, 20% wheat, 12% malted barley

Both components were aged 9 years, then brought together while still meeting the strict requirements to carry the Bottled-in-Bond designation. Heaven Hill calls it a first-of-its-kind release for the distillery.

Heaven Hill’s tasting notes call out toasted oak, honey and white pepper on the nose, followed by honey and citrus oil, with a finish of rich caramel and baking spice.
