🐥 Looking for a Loving Home for My Feathered Friends 🐥
Hey friends! I’m in a tough spot right now with my truck needing some major repairs, and sadly that means I have to find a new home for my entire backyard flock of birds. This is really hard for me because they’ve been such a joy, but I want them to go to someone who will give them the space and attention they deserve.
Meet the Flock:
5 drakes & 4 duck hens – They all get along wonderfully and would love a little extra space and a few more ladies, but have been happy as is.
5 chicken hens – Sweet, social, and if you take all of them together, they’ll come with their coop!
1 female goose – Curious and lovable.
Thomas the turkey – A perfect gentleman, calm, friendly, and the star of the flock!
They’ve all been free-range and love exploring. They would thrive in a bigger yard with more room to roam. I’m selling them as a group because they do best together.
💡 Extra: I also have a 4-panel dog run that can be netted for a roof—$400, separate from the flock price.
This is a tough decision, but I hope to find a loving home for all of them. Serious inquiries only, please!

Turkeys don’t get enough credit! They’re social, smart, and full of personality. They form strong bonds, remember faces, and love trailing their favorite people.
They communicate with all kinds of chirps and trills, sunbathe dramatically, and enjoy a good dustbath spa day. Most are gentle, curious birds who love exploring and checking out anything new. And yes, the boys strut- sometimes just because they feel fabulous!
Turkeys are wonderful animals who deserve kindness, space, and a safe flock to call home. ♥️

Winter is coming… and so are the projects! 😅 We’ve built a little arena (finally!), gathered all our obstacles so they’re not hiding in random corners of the property, added some horsey hide-outs for weather protection, and even installed a new slow-feed hay buffet to keep everypony full, fuzzy, and feeling fancy all winter. Still a few things to finish—but hey, that’s farm life!

🐔 Downsizing My Flock – Chickens for Sale!
I’ve realized I’ve taken on a few too many birds, so it’s time to downsize! I have a mix of healthy, friendly hens available — including Silkies, Bantams, Mystic Onyx, Wyandottes, and more.

We’re keeping just a few favorites my son picked out (plus the ducks 🦆), but the rest need new homes. If you’re looking to add to your flock or start one, send me a message for details and photos!

Our turkeys are truly part of the family — especially this one, who insists on getting pets before we can finish chores. It’s hard not to smile when they follow you around like big feathery puppies!

Fun fact: 🦃 Turkeys can recognize up to 100 different faces (both human and animal!) and remember who treats them kindly — which explains why this one is always first in line for attention.

Life on the homestead is never dull — just full of muddy boots, happy animals, and a few feathered friends demanding snuggles. 💛

🐴 Looking for Farm Help While I'm Away (Sept 18–23) 🐔

Hey friends! I’ll be out of town from September 18th–23rd and am looking for reliable volunteers to help with the daily farm chores while I’m gone.

🕐 What’s Needed:

Twice daily help (morning & evening, ~1 hour each time)

Feeding horses and turning them out

Refilling water for all animals: horses, ducks, chickens, geese, turkeys — and the babies too!

💸 This is a volunteer/trade opportunity — I’m not able to pay, but I’m happy to offer riding lessons or equine bodywork in exchange for your time and help!

Results dont come after one session with your Equine Therepist but regular appointments over a longer period of time can bring in some of the best results! Our 30 year old, Mia, sure is feeling better after regular body work and corrective excersizes 🤗 so proud of this transformation.
