We have three speckled Sussex hens. Each one has progressively less speckles. This is Cindy, the one with the most. Next comes Lou, and then Who.
Cindy is our middle kiddos favorite and she’s toted around frequently so when she was found broody of course I had to let her hatch the chicks.
So far she’s been an egg-cellent mother. 😉

Tis the time of year to make my dandelion oil. I’m almost out of healing salve and dandy balm(muscle/ache balm) so I need to get the base of it all ready to go. 🥰

Carrot had six.
Chocolate chip had seven but I gave two chocolate brindles to Cheeto who kindled what seemed to be three decomposing kits and two live kits.
Everybody is raising their litters really well and doing amazing 🥰
I’m super happy with these kits and excited to see how they type out for being Max’s first three litters here!
