Southern Style Horsemanship / Mulemanship

Southern Style Horsemanship / Mulemanship Starting Colts for ranch work, western pleasure, reining, cutting, and more. My name is Elam Fontenot and, I am a 4th generation horse trainer.

Much has changed in the horse world since my grandpa and great grandpa began training horses. the techniques that get a horse to respond to human desire have drastically changed as well. You will see this first hand on this page. This site it to be informative for anyone hopeing to do a little work with thier own horse. The techniques shown are simple enough that the average person will be able to

understand and, hopefully apply to his/her own horse. It has taken hundreds of horses and, countless hours for me to get where I am with understanding horses. And I dont think I'm there yet. However, I hope this site helps you and your horse make the connection you are looking for. If you are looking for a horse trainer, then look no further. Please feel free to call or post on this page for more information on price and more. Your horse will be well taken care of at this barn. We have the best Farriers and Vets in the area working with us. You will be amazed at what can be done for your horse while they are here learning Southern Style. Southern Style Horsemanship also has an apprenticeship program that it offers for those interested in learning horsemanship first hand. The program is three phase and, takes the student from ground work to th finished horse. Each student recieves a trophy style buckle after completeing the program.
