Drying meat is one of the oldest forms of food preservation. Ancient cultures discovered that they could make meat last longer by drying and salting it, which made it much easier to store it for future consumption. The first known instances of drying meat into jerky have been traced back to the South American Incas in the 1500s, but it is assumed that jerky may date as far back as Ancient Egypt.

Hello everyone, sorry I have been away for awhile. We have been hard at work still all these days and been dealing with life events.

Just wanted to give a thank you to all my wonderful customers who buy jerky for me. Today was a great remembrance of when I started this a little over 3 years ago. The first ever dehydrators I bought finally went to heaven today and it was a good little tear jerk(y) 😜

Anyways thanks to everyone again and hope your summer is going well!
