The name and creation of Coke Kiln Ranch, LLC was established in the spring of 2012 from a family partnership that was created after the death of the family matriarch, Joy Nielson in 1988, at the age of 52. Bevan Nielson, the family patriarch, started the farming and cattle operation at the young age of 16. Bevan purchased his first property in 1946 from funds he earned through showing and selling cattle that he bought and raised.
