🇺🇸 You may know Nathan as one of the farmers behind The 75 Oaks…
The guy repairing fences, hauling feed, planting trees, fixing irrigation, caring for animals, and quietly working behind the scenes to help make this little neighborhood farm possible.
What some of you may not know is that before The 75 Oaks, Nathan spent more than 30 years serving our country in military and federal service.

His career was dedicated to serving others.
We’re incredibly proud to share that he was recently recognized as part of America’s 250th Spotlight: Honoring Hometown Military Heroes. 👏 Thank you to Leander Parks & Recreation for recognizing Nathan and sharing his story with the community.
While his military career may have ended, his commitment to service did not. Today, that service continues here in Leander through 🌳 The 75 Oaks, our service-disabled veteran-owned family farm. What began as a home and a piece of land has grown into a place where neighbors can know their farmer, children can learn from the land, and families can feel connected. 🦋🫶🏼
🤩 We are grateful to see Nathan’s lifetime of service recognized by our community, and even more grateful that his service continues in the quiet, daily work of building something meaningful right here at home.

🇺🇸AMERICA'S 250 SPOTLIGHT- HONORING HOMETOWN HEROES: CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER NATHAN TIERNEY🎖️
Today, we honor Chief Warrant Officer Nathan Tierney of the United States Army and United States Navy.
Nathan Tierney is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer pilot and former Navy Rescue Swimmer who served more than 30 years in military and federal service. During his military career, Nathan flew combat missions and led soldiers in support of national security operations around the world. Following his military service, he continued serving veterans and the public as a senior executive with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including roles as Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief People Officer.
Today, Nathan lives in Leander with his family, where he remains active in community service, leadership development, and supporting fellow veterans. His family gives back to their community through their local farm, which was created to serve the community through fresh food, education, and a connection to local agriculture under the motto, “Know your farmer, know your food.” He has also authored a leadership book, focused on helping people lead through adversity, make sound decisions under pressure, and serve others with integrity.
