The idea came to me when I brought homemade chocolate chip cookies to my step-son's Lego practice. The parents and the kids went crazy over them. I kept telling people that I made them using the recipe on the back of the chocolate chips. Little history here....I grew up in the 70's and 80's. My mother had a home-ec degree. When we went to parties or gatherings we always brought something homemade
and delicious. I can remember my mother telling me that chocolate chip cookies are boring and we didn't dare show up with chocolate cookies made from that recipe--that's a no no. Fast forward to 2013 and how people reacted to simple chocolate cookies. Question?: Do all of our cookies come from HEB? Solution: I decided to go beyond chocolate cookies and started selling beautifully decorated sugar cookies. You may not have time to create these stunning cookies, but My Mom does. My Mom will make you look like a hero at your next party. When people ask if you made them, you can tell them My Mom did.
