After being at a rescue since 2020, Lucy and Zoey found their forever home with US!!! Both were rescued from different places many years ago and at Lost Meadows Mule Refuge they found eachother and quickly bonded. We are so thankful we were able to adopt them together. Tons and tons of sweat went into building this livestock shed, and today Lucy and Zoey (pic to come) will move into their forever home! When I first started looking into a shelter for them, I was quoted $6K to have someone come build it. I reached out to my Dad ( a retired structural engineer) and asked if she wanted to do a project and help engineer plans to build a livestock shed. He of course said YES! Thank you Dad for all your help and everything you taught Brian and I along the way…. I hope Lucy and Zoey will enjoy their new home. 🏠

About a month ago when my brother was digging up a dead bush at Easy Breezy Farm , we came across 🐍 eggs!!!! To learn about their process I carefully picked them up and placed them in a similar environment so they would not be disturbed by anything…. YESTERDAY, Summer nonchalantly texts me that my snakes HATCHED 🫨!!! I found 3 of them in the bucket, I immediately let them go in my backyard, hoping they would eat a ton of small rodents. I found the other 2 I knew were in there and saw that they were just about to hatch… I got to watch this amazing process…🤗🤗🤗
