It’s been a LONG TIME COMING but we finally have a fully functional kitchen sink with HOT water. And yes, I was able to epoxy the broken quartz countertop! 😁👷🏾♀️ Its not perfect but it works. In fact, that “good enough” energy is driving my sprint to finish the house.
There were many delays over the last six months due to injuries (e.g. the old torn meniscus and my ankle bursitis flared up; and I’ve developed some arthritis in a few fingers and a repetitive stress injury at the base of both thumbs). And the unexpected nonrenewal of a large contract I had been led to believe would be renewed has limited my ability to hire as much finishing help as I’d hoped. But I’ve been plugging, scraping, and pushing along. I’ll find out in the next week or so if it’s good enough for us to finally move into the main house next month.
