As riders roll across the Flint Hills this weekend for Unbound Gravel, I keep thinking back to this day — sharing the beauty of this land, learning about gravel racing, and seeing firsthand why people from all over the world are drawn here.

We’ll be cheering extra loud for our favorite weiner dog, W***y, and his human, along with our friends Wrenn Harris Pacheco and her hubby as they take on their first Unbound 50! What an incredible goal and adventure.

The Flint Hills are tough, beautiful, wild, and deeply special. So to every rider and visitor this weekend — enjoy every mile, respect the land, leave it better than you found it, and take a moment to appreciate the ranchers, wildlife, and prairie that make this place unlike anywhere else.

Still one of my favorite memories. 🤍You can check out our special day here —>https://youtu.be/NHq3zd5R6Bg

We love getting these little “proof of life” videos from our new farmer. Thirteen going on thirty, with great taste in music and a deep love for the land and machinery.

We may be way behind on planting this year, but we’re getting it done acre by acre and milestone by milestone.

Watching this next generation step into their boots and find their rhythm out here is something pretty special.

While many of us spend the long weekend catching up at home and celebrating the unofficial start of summer, we never want to forget the sacrifices of those who died in the pursuit of those very freedoms. Join us in honoring them and their families this Memorial Day.

Today, we celebrate the mothers who pour their hearts into their families and this industry. The strength of the next generation starts with you. Happy Mother's Day from all of us at the ABHA.

May is officially Beef Month in Kansas!

We had the honor of joining Laura Kelly as she signed the official proclamation. It was such a special experience for the boys, and for us too.

Moments like this are a reminder of how much pride, care, and responsibility go into raising beef. We are grateful to be part of an industry that feeds families, supports communities, and teaches the next generation the value of hard work.

“May 1, 2025

(TOPEKA) – The Kansas Beef Council proudly recognizes May as Beef Month, celebrating the state’s more than 26,000 beef producers whose work supports the economic, environmental and nutritional well-being of Kansas communities. Governor Laura Kelly has also acknowledged May as Beef Month, continuing a long-standing tradition of recognizing the vital role of beef in Kansas.

“Kansas ranks third nationally for cattle and calves, with more than 6.5 million head,” Kansas Beef Council (KBC) Executive Director Scott Stebner said. “Beef Month is an opportunity to recognize the men and women who produce high-quality, nutritious beef that feeds families across our great state of Kansas.”
