Hey awesome Leavenworth Community!

Yesterday Lindsey shared some news about the original Argonaut location on Front Street. As you now know, will not be renewing our lease. This has been the hardest decision for us but we know that by focusing on Argonaut Coffee & Biscuits we can make it the most amazing place that’s fun to go to and a great place to work and a valuable asset to the community.

The memories from all the regular customers and staff that have worked with us in this little box will be with us forever. Thank you Leavenworth for letting a couple of ex-Seattle hipsters make coffee and breakfast for you out of that little box. It was a blast!

We are so sad to have to let this chapter for us come to a close. It has was such an incredible way to learn how to be business owners with our little 85 sq/ft box and sunny little patio. Now it is time for another passionate team to make something else amazing happen out of this space.

We are offering all of the equipment and all the history and info in our brains to whoever would like to take this space over for $30,000. This will include essentially everything you would need to begin a coffee business as soon as you are ready.

Dear Argonaut Customers,

Noah and I have made the very hard decision to not re-open our little Espresso Bar and focus solely on our new shop, Argonaut Coffee & Biscuits. It breaks my heart and I am trying to find the words to express my gratitude for our years there.

It is our business baby. We were two kids with with big dreams and high ideals. We had no idea what we were in for. Argonaut Espresso Bar was our teacher. We learned so much.

Thank you for believing in us and for letting the box into your hearts. Thank you for sharing your stories and for standing in long lines for a biscuit. So many memories… remember when everyone would park in the yellow and hang out and chat for a while so the city changed it to a red and tried to get you to stop parking for coffee but y’all just kept doing it?! Remember when we tried out making donuts on Sundays? Remember when we opened we didn’t have a menu because we thought no one needed a menu to order coffee? I am so honored to have run Argonaut out of this small but mighty space for seven plus years. It is our customers that made it possible. It’s because of you. You let Argonaut into your hearts: you ate biscuits, you met up with friends, you came back over and over. Even though it was just an espresso stand you believed it was so much more because it was so much more. I can’t thank you enough.

It is such a blessing now to welcome you inside at AC&B. It’s nice to not have to bend over from the side window to talk to you and hear your stories but there will be something special forever in my heart for this time. Even though it was awkward, it was the best. I had the best time. Thank you. With tears falling down my face, thank you.

We’d like to give a heads up that Argo Bar will be closed this upcoming weekend (December 25th and 26th) and even tho we’re just as sad as you, will be open on Sunday to satisfy your coffee needs with ever so more treats and food!
