Our sweet Nancy got killed and eaten by a predator last night. She was the mama to the cutest babies we had here on the farm. Our hearts are broken. Rest in Peace Nancy. We are so very sorry.

Recently we sold off all of our marans and olive egger stock due to some health scares in the family. We talked to one of our clients and she had some chicks that were from our stock that needed to come back to us. Ofcourse we took them back with open arms. Oh Cricket. She has tried countless times to become a mom but she’s not the smartest (to say the least) and is never successful! And she refused to be a surrogate mom. But with a lot of attention and help she FINALLY hatched a single baby and she loves it.
